Frequently Asked Questions

  • Easy! Send me an email (DrCoffey@coffeypsychiatry.com) with your interest. This will start a conversation to see how my services can help you. After your first appointment, we both get to decide if establishing a physician-client relationship will meet your needs and if the “fit factor” is right. Let’s talk!

  • This practice does not contract with insurance so that I can maximize the time and treatment options offered to my clients. Rather than allow insurance companies to read about our confidential visits and direct care, we get to make these decisions together. Additionally, with the time I save from not having to call and negotiate with insurance companies I instead make available to my clients!

I will gladly provide a superbill upon request for you to submit to your insurance, which may cover a portion of the visit fees.

Of note, due to my other work at a hospital, there are regulatory requirements that prevent me or my clients from filing claims to Medicare or Medicaid for this practice.

  • I currently accept check, credit card, HSA/FSA cards, and PayPal.
